Baked Camembert & Caramelized Grapes Recipe

Ingredients
4 x 60g (2.1 oz.) baby Camembert or one large camembert for sharing
400g jar PEPPADEW® Mild pickled onions, sliced
300g (10.6 oz.) grapes (seedless, red or green), stalks removed
150g (5.3 oz.) caster sugar
1 tbsp water

Method
- Preheat the oven to 180ºC
- Put the sugar and water in a saucepan on a medium/low heat
- Stir until the sugar has dissolved, then stop stirring and turn the heat up to medium/high
- Allow the sugar to caramelize to an amber colour, then add the grapes
- Heat and stir for another minute, so as to soften the grapes slightly
- Remove from the heat and set aside
- Remove the wrapping from the camembert, and put them into an ovenproof dish
- Bake the camembert for 10 minutes until soft and semi-melted
- To serve, spoon the caramelized grapes over the cheese and serve warm with pickled onions and toast or biscuits
